The trading sessions
The trading day moves around the globe through three main sessions: Asia (Tokyo), Europe (London) and North America (New York).
Liquidity and volatility are highest when sessions overlap, especially London and New York between roughly 13:00 and 17:00 GMT. Many setups are timed around these windows, because that is when prices move most decisively.
