Trends and timeframes
An uptrend makes higher highs and higher lows; a downtrend makes lower highs and lower lows.
The same pair can trend up on the daily chart while falling on the 15-minute chart, so always know which timeframe you are trading. A common approach is to take direction from a higher timeframe and time the entry on a lower one.
